Here are a few of our showcase projects.
Sculptural, and Artistic
Traditional skills for modern ironwork. This was a joint project with the MSK Collective at InaShed forge in Hereford, We combined modern and traditional metalworking techniques along with artistic and crafts skills to create a truly superb piece of work involving the welding and forming of over 800 scales.
Industrial
We have the facilities and skills to work on a variety of very specialist restoration and conservation works, and are very familiar with moving, dismantling and repairing large machinery such as mill components. Here is the Engine room of a steamboat after an annual service, involving a clean, minor repairs, repainting, polishing and facilitating the annual boiler test,

Condition Survays and consultancy
We have undertaken condition surveys involving taking paint samples, looking for makers marks, construction methods and offering a comprehensive document. Care and research is given to ensure we are using the latest advise and guidance. At times, a practical approach is also needed, implementing emergency conservation to prevent further deterioration.
Paintwork And coatings
Often Ironwork, both new and old needs specialist coatings including shot blasting, flame cleaning, galvanising, two pack epoxy Paints, Spray paints, and specialist paints such as enamel paints for coach painting and signwriting. Here is a canal boat which had porthole repairs, below the warerline painting in a traditional bitchamin paint, and a wax to preserve the enamel paint

Traditional Wrought Ironwork
We trained in traditional blacksmithing, giving us the skills identical to that of the traditional village blacksmith, We can produce replica historical elements alongside new elements. There is often a element of the "blacksmiths approach" in all the work we do.
Replicating missing components
In the past we have often been contracted to make artefacts for other projects that require our specialist services, This can involve forging "wrought iron" components, casting cast iron components. This service has also extended to fitting the missing components using brazing, welding and other processes.
